There’s a heavy police presence on patrol in New York – as the ‘Occupy Wall Street’ movement against bank greed enters its fourth week, and gets a deeper foothold across the U.S. The sentiment has already spread to the country’s other major cities including Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles and Washington. New York’s mayor has strongly-criticised the swelling unrest against the power of Wall Street, saying that if the banks fail more people will lose their jobs. The protests have already cost the city about two million dollars.
